DIRECTIONS TO THE CANADIAN LOG CABINS
SUNSET AND SUNRISE
- From Johannesburg, take the N1 to Polokwane/Pietersburg.
- Just before Pietersburg, take the R71 bypass to Tzaneen.
- At the third stop (Robot) turn right towards Tzaneen.
- Continue for about 55km (pass Steven Lumber Mills and pass 1st Veekraal (Kromdraai Blomme) at which point you will take the SECOND turnoff to VEEKRAAL. (Dennis Thompson Whistling Winds)
- Continue straight on this road, it will become a gravel road. Just follow the Magoebaskloof signs for +- 7km.
- Take the left fork to Magoebaskloof (Cheerio will be to the right),
- Keep left and be on the look out for a small green sign with yellow writing “J 11” – This is the entrance to the Cabin Sunrise – also a sign posted A. P. VAN DER MERWE and CANADIAN LOG CABINS.
- To get to Cabin Sunset continue past A.P. VD MERWE sign for approximately 500 meters and turn left.
